Tabligh Comics

As salaamu alai kumm wa rahmatullahi wa barakath,

The following image best describes the plight of the effort of tabligh and the people involved in it.

So just ignore the doubting thomases and keep doing the effort for whatever we say, whatever we do, people will always have something to say.
Note: Not comparing the work to a donkey, its only an analogy.

Wa alai kumm as salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakath

Five Advices of Hadhrat Moulana Yusuf RA

What is very important is the five essential guidelines which Maulana Yusuf RA used to say:
كرتے رہو ڈرتے رہو روتے رہو مانگتے رہو مانگتے رہو
Karte rahow, Darte rahow, Rowte rahow, Mangte rahow, Maante rahow

"Carry on doing (the work), carry on fearing, carry on crying, carry on asking and carry on being obedient."

Analyzing this statement:

  • Firstly - We have to continue working because this is a responsibility which is given to us.
  • Secondly & Thirdly - We should fear and cry because we do not know upon which shortcoming or disregard for a particular principle (Usool) of this work that will result in us being deprived of this work.
  • Fourthly - What should we carry on crying and asking for? We should continue crying and begging for acceptance, steadfastness (istiqamat), to keep in conformance to mashwera, to become humble, etc.
  • Fifthly - Asking for obedience so that Allah Ta'ala keeps us in this work till death.

A memorable speech - Maulana Yusuf RA

The human is blind regarding the zaat of Allah. He is blind regarding the greatness of Allah, and he is blind in acknowledging the existence of Allah. If he has sight and can see, then it is only the land and property which he sees, only mountains, iron and metals. He has sight only when he sees the creation (makhluq), while he is blind when it comes to the Creator and the  zaat of the Allah.

The way the blind person should walk is to follow the voice of the person who can see. This is the secret of the success of the blind person. and miss it. The blind person cannot find the solutions to his situations due to his blindness. So a call is being made that all of the humans of this world are blind and the only one who can see is Muhammad (وسلم عليه ﷲ صلى). Allah summoned him to the heavens, and Allah showed him His Paradise and Hellfire. Allah showed him the benefits and losses of good and bad actions (amal).

Listen carefully, or you will greatly regret it once your eyes will open! Engrave in your hearts that success only lies in becoming useful in the method of the Messenger (وسلم عليه ﷲ صلى), and there is no success in the pieces and tatters of wealth and properties. You have to realize this! Your heart has to realize this before you die, because as soon as you die and enter the grave, the first question you will be asked is – “Who is the one who nurtured you?” If your effort was always towards this – that I am nurtured by my store, I am nurtured by my own efforts, I am nurtured by money – then you will not be able to say that “Allah is my Lord.” How can the tongue say what is not in the heart. Even if you were to recite “Allahu Akbar, Allah Akbar” millions of times a day, if your conviction (yaqeen) is on your shop, then this yaqeen will not count.
